In a recent clinical trial, Sharma et al. Within this range, most experts on this subject accept an estimated 1 st-year post-TBI depression frequency in the range of 25%–50%. Depressive disorders develop commonly among individuals with TBI, with estimated frequencies ranging from 6% to 77%. Similarly, fatigue in TBI patients has also been reported to have a close correlation with depression as suggested by Kempf et al. A positive association between fatigue and insomnia has been suggested in several studies in recent past.
